Health Status.com states, “Stress alters the way blood clots and it increases the chance of a heart attack.” This clot stops the blood and oxygen to go to the heart tissue. The tissues can be damaged and eventually die.
In an article on payoff.com it is stated, “Stress can spill over into areas of your life, creating negative thought patterns about more than just your money.”
People who think negatively about their life or questions if they will be able to pay off their debts, receive negative effects on their future.
My father, Gildardo Briseno, experiences financial stress when it comes to paying bills. He says, “Financial stress affects me emotionally and this occurs at least once or twice a year.”
Gildardo has trouble with this during the summer because his job at the Fairmont Hotel becomes very slow. Gildardo explains, “Some ways I try to deal with this is watching how I spend my money and cutting unnecessary bills.” Financial stress for Gildardo occurs when he doesn’t have the same amount of money and his checks become shorter.

Sonia Gomez, a San Jose resident, deals with not having enough money to buy all her needs due to the fact that she barely earns enough as a waitress. She said, “I try having my mind occupied in other things and not get stressed out over it.”
She doesn’t have enough financial support to solve her problems. For Sonia, her job gets very slow during Christmas, since not a lot of people come to make business in that holiday.
Mostly everybody experiences money problems in their life and it can cause emotional pain. For example, jobs disappearing and maybe not being able to pay house bills can lead to having so many worries to deal with and not being able to have peace.
According to debt.org, ”A study of 33,720 found that those with higher levels of unemployment were more likely to purchase over the counter of painkillers.” Thinking about financial insecurity makes the pain worse. It has been reported that it makes the situation twice as much painful with recalling their financial unstable life.
Many people who deal with many bills and stress out about it should try to see what they can change when it comes to spending money. According to the balance.com, “A budget allows when and how you spend your money.” This strategy can help you find extra money to be able to pay your debts as well as talking to someone about the issue and seeing a different point of view.
