When it comes to running in a race competition or running in general, many people tend to run away from problems as a result of fear and lack of self confidence.
Having some fear can be normal because in life, there will be times where fear will overcome you and you will end up backing down instead of trying to overcome it. However, for me, I run towards my problems, knowing that they will remain if I don’t face them head-on.
Running towards my problems can be a source of happiness because I know that I am strong enough to overcome an obstacle that challenges me.
An example of this would be in track and field, as a result of sometime the wind being so powerful that it pushes me. However, that didn’t stop me because I never give up and I kept pushing myself by running towards the wind to the finish line.
Basketball is another thing that was challenging for me at first. My shots were always off in the beginning. However, after playing basketball with my friends during P.E class, I started to get better and have more confidence, which made me have better shots.
Some people who often back down from challenges need that tiny push of motivation and support to face their challenges. When we see people who are backing down from a challenge out of fear or lack of motivation, we should be there to support them through it.
In the end, whenever we give someone a boost of motivation and support them through their challenges, we are helping them overcome an obstacle in their life.
