Immigrants have always been an important part of the U.S. and have had an important role in helping develop the economy. They have helped fuel industrial growth such as building railroads, working in factories, mills, mines. Today, many immigrants, who are undocumented, work in fields and hard-labor positions.
The majority of undocumented immigrants work hard for little money. According to the Public Policy Institute of California, the state of California has “more than 10 million immigrants”—which is “more than any other state.”
Due the high number of immigrants in California, this would be the hardest-hit state if mass deportations were to grow. Many undocumented workers work so hard to try and make their dreams come true in this country, according to the Public Institute of California.
Immigrants are the ones who work in hard tough conditions in the U.S. There are some who commit crimes and make bad decisions, which leads to them being deported, but the vast majority work hard and contribute to this country.
Many immigrants have all kinds of jobs, including: cooking, cleaning, gardening, construction, painting, janitorial, and more.
If undocumented immigrants were to be deported, this would surely have an impact on the U.S.

According to a friend of mine named Hector, “Realize how millions of immigrants work hard to pay bills and rent. With all of that being gone, lots of things will be going down the drain.”
Immigrants bring so much to this country, like traditions and the foods from their country. Without them the U.S wouldn’t be as diverse as it is today.
There’s million of immigrants out there working hard for their children and families. Not only do parents have dreams in this country, but also for their children as well. It’s the main reason they risk so much to come to this country for to have a future for themselves, and their family.
There’s a high amount of immigrants that are hard workers and very skilled. With their skill it really benefits the economy. Immigrants who have college degrees, positively affect the U.S. workers with wages and employment.
Most immigrants come to this country because they choose their lives to be here than from their own country. They want the freedom and opportunities they’ll have in the U.S. Also, many want to escape poverty from their home countries to live better lives not only for themselves but also their children—with the hope for a better future.
